Shatta Wale Or Sarkodie Wouldn’t Have Been Embarassed Like They Did To Kidi – Donzy

Award winning rapper, Donzy has shared his thought on the embarassment Kidi felt at the hands of Nana Romeo of Accra Fm after the singer turned up late for an interview.

Earlier report of the unfortunate event that happened inside the studios of Accra Fm and on Facebook that day.

Reviewing the event with Dr. Cann on Showbiz Extra, Donzy described how gutted he felt when his colleague artiste was mistreated. He made a daring claim that the Ghanaian media has their favourite artiste who they respect and can’t humiliate in such situation, citing dancehall king, Shatta Wale and Sarkodie as example of the favourite artistes of the media.

According to him, nobody can scold Shatta Wale or Sarkodie when they turns up late for an interview, but will be happy they honored the invitation by showing up.

 “If it was Shatta Wale or Sarkodie, that wouldn’t have happened to them. Even if the presenter had 5 minutes of their time, he would have been happy because of their mileage.”

To make his point clear, the “Club” hitmaker raised an argument on presenters who waste artistes time on interviews, using himself as a victim of such situatio and quizzing the host;

“So if I also go for interviews early and they don’t start on time, should I also leave?” 

“I have never heard an artiste fight a presenter for wasting his time ever”. 

Regardless of any misunderstanding, the rapper is optimistic that the artiste and entertainment show hosts across the media space need each other for the industry to thrive.
